  • Learn to digitally design an ideal, patient specific dentition and translate that into beautiful wax-ups and immediate load prosthetics

  • Master free software (Blue Sky Plan and Meshmixer) that can be used for designing guides and prosthetics entirely in-house

Dr. Hogan is a general dentist, accomplished implant dentist, life-long learner, teacher, father, and resident of Shore Drive and Virginia Beach. He is a recognized leader in dental implant, restorative, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry throughout America.

He has spent countless hours in post-graduate education on dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and reconstructive dentistry. He is credentialed as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI,) an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID,) and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI.) He has served the AAID for 4 years culminating as the President of the Southern District. Dr. Hogan has lectured internationally on the topic of dental implants and bone reconstruction. His knowledge of implant dentistry was so aptly recognized by the AAID that he has served on the AAID’s Admissions and Credentialing Committee in Chicago, IL since 2014. The AAID entrusts him to examine and credential both domestic and international dentists on implant dentistry.

Dr. Samuel Jirik is a highly respected dental implant specialist with an extensive background in advanced surgical techniques and education.  As an ABOI Diplomate and Board Examiner, Sam has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the field earning recognition as an Honored Fellow of the AAID.
 
A former President of the AAID Southern District, Sam has been instrumental in shaping the future of implant dentistry through leadership and mentorship.  He has served Full Arch Masters and ORCAA as a surgical instructor, where he shares his expertise in complex surgical procedures.
 
With a passion for innovation and education Sam has lectured nationally and internationally on the use of Platelet-Rich Plasma in surgical applications, Guided Surgery, Digital Subperiosteal Implants and the Management of Advanced All-On-X Complications.  His commitment to excellence and patient care continues to make him a leader in his field.
Dr. Alexander Nguyen is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the Phoenix, AZ and Austin, TX area and is the owner of a busy full-scope private practice.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA and then completed a rigorous four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, IL.  His training there included: full facial reconstruction from traumatic injuries, head and neck cancer ablation with reconstruction using local and free flaps, benign tumor and cyst management of the head and neck, cleft lip and palate repair, craniofacial surgeries on children and neonates with facial abnormalities, open tracheostomies for the Intensive Care Unit, corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery, dentoalveolar and dental implant surgery with bone grafting, and delivering safe anesthesia to pediatric and adult patients in the hospital and office setting.  In the office, he has taken an interest in full-arch dental implant rehabilitation and complex dental implant techniques, such as zygomatic, transnasal  and pterygoid implants.  With a firm belief in properly educating other providers, he has found a passion for teaching remote anchorage courses and has been traveling often for many years domestically in the USA and internationally to lecture and teach surgery with emphasis on the management of complications.  He has contributed to multiple publications, including textbooks, and successfully performed the first transnasal implant in the state of Arizona.   
 
Along with being in the office and teaching, he still practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.  He has full hospital privileging and exercises it at multiple medical centers in the area, many of which are Level 1 Trauma Centers.  He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

  • Only 24 operator surgeon positions are available per course.
