Implant Course Length & Format
How much time you actually give up — and how much practice you close.
Course length in days, what a multi-module sequence costs you in calendar time, and how the days are structured.
How long is a full-arch implant course?
Individual modules at the Atlantic Implant Institute run 3 to 4 days each. A single-topic workshop can be shorter — the Corps Exocad Bootcamp runs 1 day, scheduled immediately after the module it complements. A complete multi-module sequence spreads across roughly 12 months rather than running consecutively, so the days out of practice arrive in separate blocks.
Format matters as much as duration. A 4-day module with live patient demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and didactic lectures is a different use of 4 days than a lecture-only weekend of 2 days, even though the calendar entries look similar.
What a full continuum takes in calendar time
The Corps Continuum sequences 3 essential full-arch modules, 2 cadaver workshops, and Exocad design training, completed in under 12 months. Modules are scheduled months apart rather than back to back, which spreads the practice closures and leaves working time between modules to apply what the previous one covered.
That spacing is deliberate, and on the published calendar modules fall 3 to 8 weeks apart. A doctor who returns from a fundamentals module and treats cases during those weeks brings real questions to the second module instead of theoretical ones.
How the days inside a module are structured
Each module combines in-depth didactic lectures, hands-on workshops, open discussion, and live patient demonstrations inside a working full-arch practice. Doctors observe and interact during live surgical and prosthetic treatment of an actual full-arch patient, then work hands-on themselves. Seats cap at 24 doctors per course, which sets the ratio for the hands-on portions.
What happens if you have to cancel
The Atlantic Implant Institute publishes its terms rather than handling cancellations case by case. A full refund is available when a doctor cancels 60 or more days before the course. A 50 percent refund applies between 14 and 59 days out. Inside 14 days there is no refund, but the seat transfers to a future course or to a substitute attendee.
Published terms are worth checking before booking travel for any course, from any provider. The Atlantic Implant Institute states its own in writing: a full refund 60 or more days out, 50 percent between 14 and 59 days, and a transferable seat inside 14 days. A program that will not put an equivalent policy in writing has told you something.

Implant Course Length & Format — the short answers
The questions doctors ask most often about this topic, answered directly. For anything specific to your own licensure, your state board sets the rules and is the authority worth checking before you commit 4 days and travel to any course.
How long is an implant course?
Full-arch modules at the Atlantic Implant Institute run 3 to 4 days. A focused single-topic workshop such as the Corps Exocad Bootcamp runs 1 day. A complete multi-module continuum is finished in under 12 months, with modules spread months apart.
How many days of practice will I close for full-arch training?
A single module is 3 to 4 days. Completing the full Corps Continuum means several separate blocks of 3 to 4 days spread across less than 12 months, rather than one continuous closure.
Can I send someone in my place if I cannot attend?
Yes. Within 14 days of the course there is no refund, but the Atlantic Implant Institute allows the seat to transfer to a future course or to a substitute attendee.

Other decisions worth thinking through
Choosing full-arch training involves several separate calls: what format to train in, how many days out of the practice to spend, and what has to exist in the office before the first case. Each entry below takes one of them.
